Yes, apparently B2M is being a b*tch right now, just like pretty much all other music agencies in the world. But Jinnie’s not gonna die y’all. B2M seems to have taken advantage of someone and too bad it happened to be Jinnie.. but it’s not like he was gonna lose fans or anything because of that matter, so stop worrying too much.

If celebrities feel forced to either hide or justify themselves and make official statements about their relationships, it’s only and precisely because of fans who make a big fuss out of nothing. & this is exactly what y’all are doing right now. So if your favourite idol is dating someone, fine, just let them be. If you don’t know whether it’s true or just a marketing strategy, well, getting mad and making accusations won’t change anything. & knowing the truth won’t change your life either..

In any case, this is show business guys, and we know how show business works. It has always been this way. Y’all complain about the fact that music agencies use relationships to promote their artists, but why do you think they keep doing this ? It’s just because this strategy ALWAYS works. It always works because y’all absolutely want to know EVERYTHING about your fave idols’ private lives so as soon as the dating news come out you look up the girlfriend/boyfriend’s name on the internet and try to get all infos about them. So, yes, the strategy works because of obsessed fans like you.

& then, you still get mad at the press for invading celebrites’ lives ? But, seriously, what do you think fans are doing ? If you really did care about protecting their private lives, you wouldn’t talk for hours about dating rumors nor search all over the internet articles about who is dating your oppa, and you wouldn’t cry at night because he got a new girlfriend. So just let the celebrities deal with their own lives, stop hating on people, stop acting like it was the end of the world and, above all, just stop being the ones who force them to release official statements about their private relationships. Thank you.

Tales Of A Bum: So I Just Got My State Of Emergency Album Today...:

It is absolutely flawless and everything is perfection but I want to chat about the “Thanks To” section, specifically, Daniel’s.

Now I am going to preface this opinion with the fact that as a fan, I am entitled to my daily delusions and that I no doubt, function around the subatomic fraction of a chance that I will get to meet and the steal the heart of my bias. In a parallel universe, I’m sure I already have but anyway, what I want to talk about, is the ever-present gap in knowledge and familiarity that we have about the ones we “idolize”. As a fan, we are pretty much segregated to the one view of that man or woman and that is the one they put on for show. Their “fame”. Some fans will concede that they appreciate their bias for their “their character” or “their personality” but unless that fan has actually met them in a private setting, I would say that their claim is at least, to some degree, fabricated.

Now I’m not saying that we don’t ever see “the real side” of our biases. I mean, what is real anyway? Is it what we believe to be real or what is dictated to us? If my bias decided to come out and reveal his true colors, who’s to say that I would take that as “the truth”. Who’s to say I would immediately agree that he or she is “this kind of person”?

I’m going off tangent here…

Back to what I was saying; we don’t have a definitive file on the people we gush and cry and swoon over. We know nothing about their personal lives or their private pasts aside from what they decide to share and even then, it is strictly on the record most of the time. And I was already aware of this fact but what I want to bring to light is how crazy that is. How ludicrous it is to care so much about someone you don’t know.

As I read Daniel’s dedications, I realised two things:

1.) Daniel has a shit ton of friends.

2.) I don’t know any of them.

Isn’t that nuts? I just couldn’t help but feel the brunt of that observation—I know nothing about his life before debut. I know nothing of his parents or his hobbies. I know nothing about what schools he went to and what teachers were his favorite and which ones he wanted to get fired. I know nothing about his relationships with women or men and whether they still affect him to this day.

I. Know. Nothing.

And what’s truly crazy is that this tends to be the reality for every relationship in life. Not everyone grew up with their crush. Not everyone knows what kind of friends they kept or how they liked their eggs but somehow they find each other and make use of that ignorance to fill conversation and learn about each other slowly and incompletely.

And here I am thinking about how impossible love is and how trying to define it is so completely redundant because love has as many colors as an oil painting and all of them are real. Love cannot be limited to just what is “true”. Love cannot be defined by whether or not we stay with that person the rest of our lives. As fans, we scorn ourselves for feeling things and for obsessing over someone who is out of our reach but the fact the matter is—everyone is out of our reach. We are all strangers until we walk up and introduce ourselves. We are all separated by something, whether it be oceans or just past events.

I’m just in awe right now because despite all the jokes and all the venom, I know that my feelings for my bias are justified. They may not be healthy or realistic or even “true” but they exist and whether or not they reap the fruit of a relationship is irrelevant to me right now. I will like who I like and damned be the person who tells me that I’m being shallow for liking a person I don’t really know.

Damned be the person who tells me I can’t love someone because of this obstacle.

I get your point and I agree with you for the most part. (: There’s still something I disagree with though… Indeed, no one can truly determine whether something can be called “love” or not. But what we can do however is define what kind of love it is. And, as fans, we ARE being sort of vain for loving our idols. Because you mentioned it yourself: “we are pretty much segregated to the one view of that man or woman and that is the one they put on for show.” We love a manufactured character. And it doesn’t matter whether this character is their true selves or not, because we will never have the answer. We just don’t know our idols. And this is precisely what makes this love shallow.

I am not blaming anyone for that since I am fangirling over my personal favorites & often expressing my feelings towards them too, and my goal is in no way to make you change your mind because I do agree with your general vision of things, but the shallowness of our love for those artists is a fact that just can’t be denied. And once you accept that fact, you won’t feel the need to ever justify again whenever someone tells you the same thing. Because hearing a truth you’re already aware of won’t hurt you. We can find tons of reasons to explain why we love our idols, but it doesn’t make it any less shallow. I just wanted to emphasize this.

ANYWAY. As long as we realize that there is a deeper and greater kind of love waiting for us outside, I guess it’s all good. So let’s keep loving and supporting our respective fave artists without worrying about what people may think of us fans anymore ! (:

Many of you have been waiting for EgoBomb’s debut but it has been postponed to January 3rd, 2013.

The reason behind it is that Egobomb received a love call from a major Japanese agency that wants to work with them ! ^^

Although the release date for their debut album is delayed, this is also a great and rare opportunity for Egobomb since they are just rookies.

We’ll be happily waiting a bit longer together ! ^ㅠ^

Am I the only Dalmate who doesn’t want Dalmatian to come back soon ? xD

I don’t want them to rush to release a new album as fast as possible just because their fans might get impatient and tired of waiting… Nah. We all know Dalmatian are not only singers, but also artists. Most of them help with the production process. They are true music lovers and this is one of the reasons why we love them, right ? Therefore I think they should rather take their time to work on their new songs, so that they can come back with not just a good album, but a Great one. An album they would put their hearts and souls into. If the fact that they’ve just started working on their new music happens to be true, it wouldn’t be fair to ask them to return in a month or two. ‘Cause it would be hard for them to complete the album in time. I don’t want them to come up with songs they’re not fully satisfied with…

So, what about allowing them all the time they need to offer us some quality music to listen to ? Also, what if they come back after Dari gets discharged from military ? Wouldn’t it be even better to have all 6 of them on the new album ? (‘:

Okay, y’all need to remind me of something… What’s the point of an award ceremony again ? Isn’t it supposed to determine which artists/groups are the best in specific areas ? Isn’t this the reason why an award ceremony always includes various categories ? ‘Cause what’s the point of giving specific names to categories or even creating different awards when, at the end of the day, all of them should rather have been called “the-group-that-has-the-most-dedicated-yet-extremely-biased-fandom” award ? THIS is why the voting system for that kind of events usually allows one vote per day. To prevent from massive voting. But y’all are just cheaters. Creating tons of accounts to vote 50 or 100 times a day, asking other people to let your favourite artist win…etc. I totally understand that you guys want your fave singers to win an award, see them smile when they hear their name and cry along with them during their thanking speech. I do understand because, as fans, we all want the same thing for our respective faves, of course. But what’s the point of winning an award if it’s not even in recognition of their talent, their dancing/vocal abilities or their music ? I mean, for example, while voting for the “best music video”, do you REALLY care about whether the music video of your fave group is the most original/best directed one ? Do you even bother watching the other nominees’ music videos ? Because how can you say something is the best if you don’t know about the rest at all ? Maybe some do check out other nominees’ work, but i’m pretty sure most of y’all don’t.

And this is what I call “being biased and unfair”, because you’re simply NOT voting in a fair way. I know those awards are a matter of personal preference too, but it’s not ONLY about taste. It’s also (and in my opinion, it’s MOSTLY) about judging the actual skills, the technic, originality etc. Most of you are not voting for the actual “best DANCE performance”, for the “best SONG of the year” neither for the “best MUSIC VIDEO”…etc. You’re just voting for your favourite ARTISTS. So, again, all those different categories are useless because people do not take the award titles into consideration. And yeah, yeah, yeah.. I know what y’all are gonna say: this is not “being biased”, but rather “working hard for our artists in order to make them happy”, “supporting our favourite group” blah blah blah.. But nope, to me this is just cheating and giving awards to people who don’t always deserve it.
